Hi @ashleyfonseca - it’s possible that this order is being placed via Shop. The Shop channel collects taxes on orders in all states (plus the District of Columbia) that administer statewide sales tax, as well as Alaska local sales tax. If not, please feel free to reach out to support.

Hi @Tomato81 - unfortunately this is not natively supported; however, partners such as Avalara or Vertex may be able to help with this use case.

Hi @BiosRanch - Shopify Tax can in most instances do this for you. What you’re describing is a specific tax exemption where your good is exempt from state but not county or city tax. Try categorizing those goods as “Meat”. That should apply the correct taxes.
