Hello Shopify Community, I’m new to this platform.
Editing themes and adding multiple product pages were much easier on Wix. I’m clearly a fish out of water on Shopify and I just can’t figure this out. I’ve been stuck in google searches and youtube videos. I’ve found “nothing” to help with my issue on the Motion theme.
On the Motion theme… it sends ALL my products to one page titled Products at the top of the page. However I can’t find what the page is titled under in the codes, in order to duplicate it (possibly).
As of now ALL of my products are filtered to this one page. That’s clothing, accessories, housewares, etc… I’ve added a drop down menu for each “group”/ collection. However I can’t figure out how to add the products to those pages. All products on one page appears “un-cohesive” and not esthetically pleasing, nor efficient for shoppers who want to shop by category (collection). Versus having to scroll through the entire list of products.
I did find this link which explained how to do add another collection https://help.groupthought.com/article/505-tutorial-create-a-second-collection-template , however it did not work for my Motion theme to add PRODUCTS for each collection to their OWN assigned page. Does anyone know how to do this for the Motion theme?
I’ve found that a lot of the help via a Google/youtube search is for the Dawn theme, just not much out there for the Motion theme. Could be due to the cost of the theme. ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don’t mind paying someone to do this for me, however I’m a “do it my self-er” and I’d like to be able to do it in the future as my store grows. Hopefully someone in the community will have the help information I need… (Manifesting it!
