is it possible to change the search icon in the header and to a search bar in the mobile hamburger menu?

Yes, its surely possible, but then the whole structure of the menu is supposed to be changed, as your search bar is giving a list of product suggestions that need to be adapted if we add a search system to the mobile menu.
I think what you are having is good from the user’s perspective. may i know why you want to do that?
