I need some help to move the collection description from inside the banner to the white space in between the products and the banner.

Its better you add a rich text section for this.

Agreed with @Made4uo-Ribe , to achieve this look you can easily add a rich text section below the banner image.
Thanks for the reply. If I add a rich text to the collection template, it will apply the same content to all my collection pages, which have different collection descriptions:(
Are there any other solutions to this?
