Hi everyone!
So my problem is that I started out my website on Squarespace (my needs changed; it started as a personal website, and then I launched my store), but now that I know how shopify integrates with Meta, I’ve decided that I like Shopify more. The only problem is that I worked really hard on my Squarespace portfolio and store. The store I can probably redesign to match on Shopify, but I’m not sure how to put in a portfolio onto my shopify page. My goal is to move my domain from Squarespace to Shopify before September (the end of my Shopify $1 a month deal) so that I can stop paying for Squarespace before I have to pay full price for Shopify. The only thing stopping me is that I really, really love the portfolio on my Squarespace and I’m not sure I can remake it the same on my Shopify. It’s also just inconvient to have two unconnected stores, so I know I have to move.

Great choice migrating to Shopify.
Usually there’s always ways to migrate your portfolio. Depending on the quantity of content it there might be automatic solutions.
Do you mind sharing a url to your current store so we can take a look at the portfolio?

Thank you for all of the suggestions and help! I decided to do it myself (via remaking my portfolio) and it was surprisingly fun and easy. I will keep you all in mind if I need anything in the future, though!

I was just reading your convo. I have made my website/webshop on Squarespace (clothing) and i just found out that SS doesnt have the feature of integrating an invoicing system. I am not online yet. Now I am thinking of switching to Shopify. Would you say it’s difficult to switch? I am so bummed because of all the work I have put in to design the site and filling my inventory! That was so time consuming… Would you recommend it doing it yourself?

I recommend that you do it yourself. it’s easy to manage shopify store. not it’s not difficult if you have normal store then you can move easily
