I currently run a Magento store, but am moving to Shopify for various reasons.
I need to try and implement shipping on Shopify as closely as I have it on my Magento store currently, as it works really well in not overcharging the customer for the items they are buying.
The issue I have is that my matrix of shipping rules on Magento operate using cart weight, and total price - something that does not appear to be possible on Shopify ? It looks like Shopify forces you to choose one or the other option?
My product data includes price and weight, of course, however it also includes information like can it be posted as a “large letter” or a “parcel”.
I am not sure if that extra data is somehow usable in Shopify to get around the shipping settings limitations here?
If anyone could help or point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
