For multi-currency, I am assuming you are referencing Shopify Payments FX. Shopify Payments FX does not work with third-party gateways. Shopify Payments FX is a feature of Shopify Payments, which is Shopify’s own payment gateway. When using third-party gateways, Shopify Payments FX is not applicable, as third-party gateways handle their own currency conversion and payment processing.
Thanks for your reply! Will there ever be a solution for merchants outside of “Shopify Payments” locations and multi currency checkout? Because right now even if we have a third party gateway that processes the payment and currency conversion, we cannot change the currency that the customer sees at checkout and that’s a big limitation.
