Multi Line Text Metafield formatting text and adding links

Hi, I am using Multi Line text Metafields, but keep running into limitations. I want to make some of the information Bold to differentiate between subtitles within the metafield and would like to have the ability to add links. I would expect this Multi Line Text Metafield to behave like a Rich Text Editor, but there doesn’t seem to be any way that I have found to format the text.

Does anyone know how to format text within this metafield, or to add dynamic content within the metafield itself? I realize that I can add dynamic content in the customizer, but I want to do it in the Metafield.

My Metafield is called Specs and Features and within that metafield, I want it to display like below, with the addition of a link to a youtube video. This would be different for each product, which is why I want to put the link within the metafield.

Regular Weight

59" wide, 4.3 oz/sq yd or 145 gsm, 4-way stretch: 30% side-to-side 15% lengthwise

Lightweight (lightweight colourways have the word Lightweight in their colour name)

59" wide, 3.6 oz/sqyd or 125 gsm, 4-way stretch: same as above.

Consider using Single Line Metafields - it should accept custom HTML.

@Discoverytrek We now have “Rich Text” available as a metafield type that can be used to resolve these kind of issues.
