Multi-Seller Store (Seller portal access to only their sales, their products, their inventory)

We’ve been looking for an app for over a year and a half, and after much searching, connecting with Shopify customer service, and talking with multiple software developers, we have yet to find it. But I am hopeful that it will exist someday soon, and I’d appreciate any leads anyone could offer. We’re happy to pay a developer to make it, but are looking for a reasonable monthly rate; ongoing cost would still be a consideration.

We’re a store that has careful branding and customer-facing services. We manager all orders, shipping, customer service, communication, payment processing, etc. We have a Shopify ecommerce store and Shopify Pro POS. We’re very invested in making our flows as seamless as possible.

We have about 40 or so sellers, each who source and maintain their own product and inventories. However, we also manage the warehouse where our sellers store their goods, so we are not looking to outsource our order fulfillment.

Here’s what we need the app to do and not more:

  1. Provide a seller login portal for an unlimited number of sellers.

  2. In their portals, sellers can see only their sales*, only their* products that have sold (without associated order or customer info), can add products (but only see the products that are associated with them), and can alter inventories of the products associated with them.

  3. We use QuickBooks Online, and have connected it with our Shopify. We’d want to make sure that this app played nice with the integrations.

  4. A field we could use when creating custom orders, whether in our ecommerce store or in the POS, that would allow us to associate a custom product with a particular seller.

  5. The ability to deactivate seller accounts. It’d be great if we could fully manage them, including initial setup, password resets, etc.

This would be a game-changer for us! Thank you in advance to anyone with ideas.

I think these features are too specific to be covered by a ready Shopify app. In this case, building your own custom app with the functionality you require would be your best option. Also, you can consider the Multi Vendor Marketplace app. This app is known for its comprehensive vendor dashboards that let sellers control almost every aspect of their store. Sellers can have their own profile and collection page with a variety of products. You can easily set individual commissions and global commissions for all the sellers.
