Hi everyone! First time posting here .. I’m considering using Shopify for my multi vendor marketplace business. I have a very specific feature that I’m looking for and I’m curious to know if it exists.
I’m looking for a solution that allows for separate sellers to “partner” and split revenue on select items. I would want the revenue percentages to be variable and I would also want the “shared” items to show up in each sellers’ store.
Is anyone aware of any plugins that enable this feature?
TomLav .. thanks for the response! This looks like it could be a solution, but it seems it’s only valid for stores that have made $50k in the past 12 months. Have you used this before?
When you say about multi-vendor business - do you mean that you fulfill all orders by yourself but source it from multiple vendors or you mean to be an ebay/amazon that accepts an order, but the vendor ships by their own?
In the second case the “Shopify collective” seems to be an option, but it should work fine only if your vendors already have their Shopify stores that limits your significantly.
But if you are looking to build the general marketplace where vendors have their accounts etc- Shopify wouldn’t offer you enough flexibility.
