Multicolumn appearing on all product pages?

Hi

I’m using Dawn 2.0 and im really struggling configuring the product pages, I have a multicolumn that I want to use for each product but it has copied across all the product pages?

I tried adding a block under the product information but it doesn’t have the option, only “text, custom liquid, collapsible row… etc”.

Basically I just need a different multicolumn for each product page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

In order to differ multicolumn for each product page, you first need to create a metafied first and then connect it to your theme editor.

  • Step 1: From Settings > Metafields > Products > Add definition and fill in the required info.
  • Step 2: Go to each product, scroll down to the bottom to see the metafield you have created, and enter what you wish the new message to say.
  • Step 3: Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize. From the page selector at the top center, select Products > Default Product.
  • Step 4: Within the sidebar menu, scroll down to the Multicolumn section. There are two columns by default, suppose you want to differ the content for Free Shipping column, so you’ll want to click on it, then select insert dynamic source icon and insert the metafield you have created at step 1.
  • Hit Save.

Hi thanks for your reply,

unfortunately this doesn’t have “multicolumn” just text is the closest.

I need to add text then an image then more text and another image, maybe there is another method that doesn’t involve that?

You can consider creating different product templates and assigning a corresponding product to each.
