Multiple AND Conditions in Automated Collections?

I intend to add multiple “AND” conditions for my automated collections against “PRODUCT TITLE”
I need to ask if i can add multiple words as conditions in one field to be used as an “AND” condition.
For e.g.
Any PRODUCT TITLE that contains “Women” AND “jacket”; OR “Women” AND “Dress”; OR “Women” AND "Blazer"should be in “Women Fashion Wear” collection
How to add a condition like this in automated collections?

Hey @mtahreemalam !

I read here often that automated collections are actually quite limited. Have you tried using Parabola? You can create custom collections in Shopify that you could then automate in Parabola!

I went ahead and built you a Parabola flow that pulls in your Products and Custom Collections, runs your AND / OR rules you laid out in your post, and then matches those resulting products to a Custom Collection before sending them back to Shopify to update your store. You can set this to run every day or so to make sure your collection always stays up to date!

Hey @jpbertram ,
Thanks alot. I was looking at Parabola for a couple of days, but couldnt find my relevant example, so i thought i might not be a feature.
Thanks alot of going this far and making me a flow.
One more question, is their anyway i can upload bulk conditions in Parabola to be integrated with my flow?

I am still confused about my condition that i want to add. Let me explain more clearly below:
Title contains “Women” OR “Womens”
AND
Title Contains “Blazer” OR “Blazers” OR “Jacket” OR “Jackets” OR “blouse” etc.
Categorize in collection “Womens Fashion”

Hi @mtahreemalam !

Unfortunately, there is no way to bulk import your conditions into Parabola, but that’s a great idea! If you’d like, you can submit that as a feature request in our Community.

As for the conditions themselves, the flow I sent along uses “contains” in the condition, so anything that is Womens Blazers would be included in a contains “Women” AND contains “Blazer” rule.

The best part is once you’ve created all these rules, you’ll never have to do so again. If you need help making sure they’re set up correctly, you can reach out in-app. Our support team is more than happy to make sure your flow is up and running smoothly!
