Multiple gift messages for multiple products in one order

So I have been racking my brains trying to get this feature up and running but I keep running into bricks walls.

I wish customers on my site to be able to purchase multiple items and be able to add an optional gift message to each product as they add it to cart.

Alot of apps only allow just the one message or they add in extra products into the products list which have the one message only.

Our items are already gift wrapped. It’s just a matter of being able to add in gift messages.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi @JSUFox yes you can do this with line-item-properties using theme customizations.

Note that guide is for vintage themes, newer themes like OS2.0 need the code and steps adapted using knowledge of html & liquid.

And this is vastly different from the “messages” being actual separate purchasable products like a physical greeting-card.

The extra info wasn’t for here you actually provided a very good description.

It’s just when people send emails they forget it isn’t connected, so I get so many emails that are just “hi help me” and zero context.
