Multiple pixels for different markets within the same store

Hi there, just wondering if anyone has run into the same technical problem that I’m faced with right now.

Currently, we have two different stores for US and Canada. They share the exact same catalog, but just priced differently based on the different currencies.

As you can probably tell, managing and maintaining this catalog is really cumbersome since it is, quite literally, double the work. I decided to re-tackle this problem and try to figure out a way that we can just use one store, but have two different Markets for US and Canada.

I’m aware that Markets exist for the same Shopify store, but the only reason that we’re not using that feature is because of conversion tracking. We have separate ad accounts in USD and CAD for Facebook and TikTok and we would really like to separate the tracking between both markets so that we can better allocate our ad budget based on different market buying behaviours.

I know that GTM exists, but this would be the absolute worst case scenario and I’d like to avoid this approach if at all possible.

Currently, we have the Meta and TikTok apps connected in both stores, which has all of the conversion tracking already set up after connecting them. I was wondering if there was a way to separate the pixels/connected accounts within these apps so that we can have two pixels in different markets within the same store.

Has anyone solved this?

Your most reliable option is going to be GTM but what is are asking might be a good feature to have on shopify.

Do you know for sure that this isn’t currently supported?

Bump

Yes, it’s not supported as of now.
