Hi,
Have an existing store that sells to the general public/consumer B2C - no passwords required.
Wish to create collections (of same products/sku) exclusively for separate business customers, which will include personalised products (visual by product images that include the business branding in situ).
Want EACH business (who may have multiple branches of authorised staff, each to have their own password) to access the Private Collection dedicated to their business (ONLY), so they can order “on account” not by payment of card etc…
Each Private collection should only be accessible by those with the password for that collection.
There will be multiple collections - each business having their own bespoke individual collection.
We must avoid the password/access gaining access to other private collections.
We wish to avoid Google images (for example) crawling the website locating the SKU’s that are in the hidden collections. Using another platform many years ago I discovered that Google images would “locate” the hidden products ![]()
Want to make sure what we incept for the private collections does not conflict with the end user experience of the existing B2C experience.
Would a duplicated store with settings changed to make it password only avoid conflicts in user experience?
If anyone has gone along a similar path - and feel they should have started from scratch?
Any advice or suggestions would be very welcome.
Many Thanks
