This is most definitely a pitfall born out of the new section/block system.
With default Dawn, adding multiple sections of the same type will cause the css/js files that are linked in by the session to load anew (the cdn appends time, so the files aren’t cached) as many times as the section is duplicated.
Needles to say this is a most definitely a Bad Practice.
Trying to find a way to get around this, but even with the section id the fact that the files loads in again means that all liquid variables would be re-created.
Having modularity is great. Dawn is just a poor example of how to actually implement this…
Anyone have a workaround this far?
