Let’s say I created a Shopify store. However, I have products in 3 categories, and these are 1st category “office products”, 2nd category “pet shops”, 3rd category “home kitchen”. I don’t want these 3 categories of products to be displayed simultaneously on Shopify. But I would appreciate if you could guide me on how this can be done. Do I need to open 3 different stores for these 3 categories and triple my Shopify costs, or does Shopify allow such a configuration by creating sub-stores? Thank you,
The best way to do this is by using Shopify Collections to group your products and then setting up separate navigation menus to guide visitors to the right category
For a more distinct experience, you can create custom landing pages for each category with different branding and product listings. If you want a truly separate storefront feel, Shopify Plus allows for sub-stores, but it’s expensive. A more budget-friendly option is using Shopify Markets or a third-party app like Multi-Store Sync to manage different categories under one store while keeping them distinct
