Hi, the IT department of the company I work for is blocking the IP address of Shopify’s DNS (23.227.38.74) and thus all Shopify stores under that fail to load. They claim their evidence of malicious activity is the entries on the IP abuse database website as well as an internal firewall that recorded some traffic that it flagged. Why is this happening? Has anyone else seen this in a large organization? This whole thing makes no sense and they say they “cannot understand block the IP address until it has been cleaned” I am quite technical but I have no idea what they are actually asking me to do, as even the abuse db basically says that the website has low likelihood of being malicious.
