Hello!
Since last February 2024, I’ve been diligently working on my store, holypots.com, implementing Organic Marketing strategies such as Social Media Platforms and Blog Posts. I’ve already gained some recognition with organic followers and views. However, despite these efforts, I’m not seeing any significant increase in traffic or sales. Any feedback or suggestions you can provide would be immensely appreciated. Thank you for your help!

Hi @rhm2024
My name is Ellie, from BOGOS.io: Free gift app. First off, congratulations on your store, I have taken some time to review and I’m very impressed by your dedication in the store. Here are some of my recommendation that I hope would help you elevate the experience:
1. Homepage
-
Hero banner**:** As of my first impression, the current banner suggests you are selling food or ingredients instead of kitchenware. Please consider to change it to the image of your products, it will help set the right expectation and attract the correct target audience from the start.
-
Image quality: I also recommend you use higher resolution image that would look good on both mobile and desktop. I usually use the .webp image because it looks clear despite having being small sized (so it wouldn’t affect your loading speed).
-
Promotion details: It’s amazing that you’re running a combo discount, however the details on the promotion is a bit vague. Consider specifying what items are discounted or what bundle deals are available directly on the banner. Currently you’re using general terms to describe, and customers have to navigate to the next page to know what is this about; many of them will just give up scrolling or clicking instead. Here’s an example of a promotion banner that looks great and captures customers’ attention.
- Section removal: Consider removing some of your sections, because it would require visitors to scroll even further to see the below products list. You can also move them to the About us page. Here are the parts that I mention.
2. Product page
- Consistent branding: Your current Add to cart button is in yellow, which is totally different from your brand color scheme. Aligning this button’s color with your brand’s theme will enhance professionalism and brand recall.
- Product images: Make sure the images are clear and uniform. Avoid using images from too many different sources, as it could confuse potential buyers. Some images are repeatedly appeared, you can also remove it to make it looks clear visually. Please refer to the screenshot below.
3. Clearance sale
I see that you have a seperated page for a 60% off sale! That’s great. Now you need to promote the sale effectively.
- Urgency timing: Add a countdown timer to your page, or mentioning the deadline of this promotion to create a sense of urgency. Be specific about the time remaining on offers rather than using “Limited time, hurry" to motivate quicker customer action.
- Banner adjustments: The current banner doesn’t fit well in the collection page. Please refer to my screenshot, it’s being cut off abruptly from my end now.
- Offer mechanism: Currently the Shopify Discounts requires customers to add both products manually to their carts to see the discounts. To reduce the steps involved in this process, I suggest you look for an app that create bundle products, like in my below screenshot, so customers can click add to cart once and get the offer immediately. To create the same one, you can use the BOGOS.io: Free gift app.
These are my recommendations. If it helps, let me know by giving a Like or Accept the solution. Wish you all the best with your business.
Regards,
Ellie
