Sometimes when we install apps into our stores, they inject code into your theme in order to work effectively. When that app is removed, the corresponding code might have to be manually removed in order to prevent unexpected changes to your store.
Based on what you have described, I suspect that is the issue here. If you are comfortable making code edits yourself, you might want to consider reverting back to an older version of your theme before the change was made.
Alternatively, please connect with the App’s Developer directly for personalized assistance with proper removal of the app. I trust they will be able to fully support you with this and ensure there are no other unintended side effects.

- Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
- Asset->/theme.css ->paste below code at the bottom of the file.
