My products are not showing up in the store

Hi all. I have a dropshipping store that imports from Alibaba and the products show up in the Products category but they don’t show up in my store. Can anyone give me some pointers?

Although I can’t say for sure without seeing the admin section of your store, here are a few things to look for:

  1. Make sure that the same collection that the product was added to is the same collection you’re seeing on your store. Sometimes people have duplicate collections and may be staring at 2 different collections.

  2. Make sure the products are set to “Active”. If a product is in draft or archive mode, they will show up in the collection in the admin section but not on the front end of the store.

  3. If you are using any apps that have control of the category pages (like some product filter apps), make sure they are synced with your collections. Sometimes, if you have to manually sync them, they may not catch all the changes as they happen.

That is certainly an interesting one. I understand you are dropshipping on your store and sourcing your products from Alibaba. Are you using some sort of app integration to do this?

When you say the products ‘show up in the products category’, do you mean that they are showing in the Products section of your Shopify admin, or are they only showing inside of the app?

@Bluesoft_Design mentioned a few valid points already, such as making sure the product status is set to active. As you can see in my screenshot below, the products need to be set to Active, and available to the Online Store in order for them to be visible on your storefront.

Have you added the products in question to the Navigation on your store? For example, if the products are in collections, you will need to ensure that those collections are linked somewhere such as in your navigation main menu, or perhaps as featured products on your theme homepage.
