I’m using the Providence theme and it’s been pretty customized over the last few years. I had a related products section configured that let me choose which products to recommend for any specific product the customer was looking at. I implemented it in the Metafields editor and it was working well.
Today I just noticed that all of the recommended product coding in the metafields editor are gone. I don’t know how or when it went away, but I want to rebuild it. I found a Shopify Help article that showed how to turn on a “related products” section and that’s working but it doesn’t let me choose which products to show - it has it’s own algorithm which doesn’t suit my purpose. I can’t find any article that shows how to do what I had with the metafields editor. Just other apps or liquid code changes, which I don’t want. Anybody know?
