My shopify using custom domain different with my custom email, can it work?

My shopify using custom domain like shop.mycompany.us and my custom email is noreply_us@mycompany.com.

My custom domain is working already. I am doing verify domain for custom email, but status is still pending.

For this setup, can it work for my case?

Around 30 minutes, domain has been verified for this email.

I am checking how it looks like when sending email.
