My shopify website is coding and shopify templates

Okay, please give it to me straight. My website is not open for business. The website has been integrated with code. Not even sure which coding it is. Although almost completed, TWICE!! , I am finding this out. So here is the dilemma. What is the easiest way to go about it? I just would rather have Shopify than any other coding because I have no idea what I am doing with computers. I am a businessman and have always had someone build my websites. So, scrap the whole thing and start from scratch? Save the one for reference, of course. Or, Is there any way to take what I have, delete the coding, let the store fall to pieces? Clean it up and see what can be salvaged.? Please let me know what your thoughts are. Whatever road I take will be a long one . I am running out of time. Thank you

Hey @Medostomy

If you’re not comfortable with the current coded setup and want something you can easily manage, starting fresh on Shopify is usually the simplest and least stressful route. You’ll have a clean, user-friendly platform with no complex code to maintain, and I can still reference your current site for design and content ideas so nothing goes to waste.

I’ve also helped many business owners in your exact position transition smoothly to Shopify, keeping the best parts of their old site while building something modern, functional, and ready for sales. It’ll save you time, headaches, and get you to launch faster.

Best,
Moeed

I appreciate your knowledge and response. I have run businesses throughout my career and can probably do it blind. There are two things that I know I am horrible at. I will always need a computer person and an accountant. I can do everything else. My limitation is the ability to sit and concentrate for hours every day. I would rather eat a bowl of lint from the dryer than do this. My brain does not function in this manner. Thank you. I will start from scratch again. My old website guy, on my last venture, I met with him and paid the usual $2000.00 to get it going and be ready for what I will want. The guy passed away from a heart attack two days later. I found another guy I like, who does good work, but he is gone too now. Not off to a good start,

I forgot to mention I have two or three other websites I need to do very quickly. This would be much easier and simplified by Shopify templates, down and dirty. I have three different massive collections that need to start moving. It is costing me money every day they are not selling.

Hi :waving_hand:
I get your situation — products ready, sites to launch, but no time to deal with coding. Shopify templates solve that: quick setup, easy to manage, no tech headaches.

I’ve put together a small portfolio showing how I’ve helped stores go from “stuck” to selling in days (not weeks). I even made an example layout based on your needs so you can picture your store’s look.
