This flag has been added by Google directly. The most likely cause is a compromised web host while with their previous hosting service, which then causes Google to flag them. This is something which Shopify has no control over as Google has flagged the merchant’s website with this warning.
Here are some steps you can take:
- Review this document: Google’s Browsing Safety Assessment of websites
- Go to Google’s Safe Browsing FAQ’s and follow the directions provided under the question " If my website has been compromised and is now unsafe, what can I do?"
- If you feel that the website was incorrectly flagged by Google, you can request a review from Google here.
- After Google has removed this flag from the merchant’s domain, it will be possible to activate the SSL certificates.
