My SSL has been pending for over 3-4 days now. Im switching it from a 3rd party website over to Shopify. Im wondering if this problem will get solved or if there is something else prohibiting it from getting accepted.
3-4 days is a long time span. I think that it could be some error in your DNS settings, but I cannot help more without details of the domain.

Im transferring my domain name from hostinger I switched the dns settings according to the shopify transferring a 3rd party domain instructional video. It says that the SSL is pending and has been for few days now
Could be that the domain transfer is still in progress? I can check the DNS status if you want to post the link of your domain.
There is a problem as you can see
https://onlyshaves.com goes to your old WordPress website
https://www.onlyshaves.com goes to your new Shopify website
This is the Shopify IP to configure in the A record 23.227.38.65 as described here (https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/domains/domains-terminology#a-record) but it has to be done both for the domain with and without WWW.
Check all your A records and try to fix it
