my Store was shut down! was I hacked???

Hello,

Happy new year everyone.

I just sat down to continue building my site, and to my amazement, I have been shut down! I have not even opened it yet. I was planning to sell phone cases only.

I was sent an email saying:

Dear Account Owner,

We have reviewed your account and determined that it is in violation of Shopify’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). As a result, we are no longer able to host your store on the Shopify platform and your account has been closed.

If you believe that your account was terminated in error, as a first step, please use this form to appeal the decision.

Please note that this email address is not monitored. Any responses submitted will not receive a reply.

I clicked on the appeal form, but it is a dead link.

Was my account hacked, or does anyone know what I breached? Like I said, I only was planning to sell phone cases.

thank you so much for your reply. i have read the policies for hours to no avail. it seems like i have not compromised anything. also i have searched and cannot find a direct email or phone number for shopify. if you have those info. do you mind sharing it?

also, i cannot even log into my account to see any type of monitoring. it says i do not have any access.

any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hey there @swimmer1983 first I send my apologies for the stress you must be going through right now. I think the best course of action you could take right now would be to reach out to Shopify Customer Support directly with all the necessary details that could help them understand the situation.
