Hello Shopify Community,
This is the tale-old story of getting a lot of traffic to the website but lots of abandoned carts and no conversions. There is a lot of pressure for these stores to convert well and convert soon, and we have tried to do whatever possible to make that happen.
I am hoping that you guys have some insight and help for me. I have 2 stores:
https://goodproteincookiesnacks.com/ (about 1 month old)
https://sardinemarine.com/ (a few months old)
I have tried to follow all of the best practices when it comes to UX, design, and conversion rates but there are many different people that make changes to these sites. We have tried paid Shopify apps that claim to increase conversion rates through pop-ups, exit pop-ups, clever games, wheel spins, discount codes, etc. but nothing seems to really do the trick.
Shopify notifies us all the time that we have very high traffic numbers but very low conversion rates. I believe we are getting quality traffic as we are targeting the right geographics and demographics with our paid advertising. We are starting to write more quality content for our Cookies store and have been writing lots of content for our Boat Parts store over the short lifetime of the website. For all our paid advertising efforts, Amazon shopping is really the only one that consistently converts for us but we want our Shopify stores to take off and increase sales. Paid social and Google helps to drive a lot of traffic to our Shopify site, but none of it converts.
If anyone would, please provide me with some suggestions, tips, or opportunities that could be taken with either of these stores in the hopes of increasing conversion rates and lowering abandoned carts?
Thanks so much ahead of time and I appreciate any input you have!
