Hi there!
I have been having a lot of issues getting the www. version of domain (www.blumorganics.com.au) to direct to my Shopify store. I connected it on Monday and both my root domain (blumorganics.com.au) and the www. domain (www.blumorganics.com.au) say they are connected, and https://blumorganics.com.au/ does take you to my Shopify store, but when I type in https://www.blumorganics.com.au/ , it goes to my old Kartra website which I’ve deactivated.
I’ve contacted Shopify support and GoDaddy support (who host my domain) multiple times and so far they haven’t been able to find a solution and have told me conflicting instructions:
- Shopify support has said that I have two “A” records on my DNS settings and that I need to delete the second one to match the Shopify IP address (23.227.38.65) and point the www CNAME record to (shops.myshopify.com)
- GoDaddy told me that I don’t have two “A” records, that the only one I do have already points to the Shopify IP address (23.227.38.65) and that I should delete the CNAME record (shops.myshopify.com)
I am feeling very confused and would really appreciate any help anyone can offer to help me fix this issue?
