Narrative - Editing the "Image with text" Section on the home page

Hi all,

Was hoping to get some assistance in making two edits to the “Image with text” section on the Narrative theme.

See below default formatting.

I’d like to make three changes.

  1. First, to increase the amount of space taken up by the image. Currently the section is split down the middle (50/50). I would prefer the image to take up about two thirds of the space (66/33 split).

  2. I want to remove the decorative bar above the “Image with text” heading.

  3. I want to centre the heading and text, rather than the default left alignment.

Would very much appreciate any guidance that you may have.

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate you letting us know which theme you are using and including an image of the section. In order to make those adjustments to the Image with Text section on the online store, we will need to change the coding of the themes section to have it displayed as you described. Since the Narrative theme is designed and supported by Shopify, we can use free design time for Shopify themes to have our themes team make the coding changes on your behalf.

If you would like to use your design time to make these changes, we will need you to login to your store using the Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner and speak to a Support Advisor about the changes on the section.

Alternatively, you can reach out to an individual if you are interested in hiring a Shopify Expert to make the changes for you.
