I have created all necessary collections to achieve this. I’ve tried to create a hierarchical category structure in Shopify using metaobjects and meta fields, but no success. I don’t know how to code. Can this be achieved without code ? and if so can someone please guide me. Much appreciated.

Hello @doncrews

Can you please share the URL of demo site if you took design from it ?

and also you have too many menu items, so you need to make them in proper groups so it look good on your site when you use it.

this is the demo site - https://marais.com.au/collections/women?pf_mlt_categories=WOMEN%20ACCS

hope i want to achieve something similar

You need to create menu in in navigation at store admin in the order that is shown in demo site as you want to show.

yea but the menu in navigation only creates sub-categories or subcollections. i cant add the next layer. for example

women - (main category)

clothing - clothing subcategory which references main category

-coats (references clothing )

-jackets (references clothing)

----bombers (reference jackets)

----puffer jackets (references jackets)

i could not achieve this structure using admin navigation. Appreciate your assistance

Did someone say multi-tiered mega menu? ?

Meteor Mega Menu was created for this use case. Our “Dynamically populate sub-items” feature would save you a ton of time instead of manually adding products to the menu one by one.

Just looking at the sheer volume of products you’re dealing with, I’d suggest our templates either Amazon or Solar.

I hope this helps
