with Option: Enable/Display product wise
the label is supposed to display on product cards & product details on the store.

The purpose of it is highlight new products to recurring customers as well as attract early adopters.
3rd party app effects the page loading speed; for mini customisations like this inbuilt theme code is preferred.
Adding collection is case-specific; it works for stores with fewer collections. The “New” label is Eye-catching; also it helps customers understand that the reason some products don’t have reviews is that they are new launches.
