I am looking for a Shipping Estimate app for my store that does not include all the fluff. Just a one-liner where I can put in the time frame for each individual product and have it update daily to the new shipping time. It seems that, with almost all the apps in the Shopify store, they all carry a lot of undesirable fluff and extra stuff attached, rather than simply providing the single thing needed. I have looked at several free and paid apps, but you can’t see exactly what is included in the apps and cannot contact the developer unless you download the app first. So most go untried because each one leaves coding in your theme when you uninstall it.
If anyone knows of a simple “one-liner” shipping date app, please let me know.
If you wanna remove all the overhead why not try a bit of custom code.
You can use metafields for this to put a shipping date to each product and use JavaScript Date object to display the time. Using js Date object it will update automatically just like used on the footer displaying the current year on sites.

I think it would be kind of complicated for per say someone off Fiverr and my theme developer charges a around $150 per hour and swears everything takes 2-3 hours to do. I do not want to spend that much.
If he’s charging that much he definitely has a good background and experience as a developer. Anyways I should have nothing to do with that.
As for this stuff, i believe this shouldn’t take 2-3 hours of coding. The coding part is kind of easy you will have to go and add the shipping date to all products and this will take time depending on your number.
And yes you are definitely right not to trust just anyone out there, that is totally understandable.
