sorry for my bad english skills.
im looking for a preorder app where i have the option to prevent customers to mix preorder products with in stock products in the cart. ive searched the app store but only found 1 app where i can toggle a message when mixing said products but it doesnt prevent the user to reach the checkout.
i would really appreciate help

None of the apps in the app store seems to have the said option. ive tried 90% already.
The expamples from @ZestardTech were already on my list that i tried.
It seems that shopify is the only platform that as no suport for “real” preorders.
and with “real” i mean that its not about “product is sold out..change button to preorder..bandaid”
but for things like anime figures that have a release date in the future but are already sold right now. There is no app for this. Because right now, when a preorder is in the cart with an in stock product.. i have to bill the shipping cost of that preorder later again manualy when it arrives here. i have to manualy send a mail and a bill…and when there are 2+ preorders in one order…this gets totaly out of hand in the big picture…and so on. it gets chaotic in the backend. there is nothing to create an overview and stuff…there are only order numbers.. i hope you understand whats my point. Shopify is not a good platform for preorders. Shops like shopware have no problems with that.

I am sure there is a way to code this feature in your store and I leave that for our more qualified contributors to share on this thread.
As for the apps in our app store, as mentioned above, if you are finding that you needs are more specific and some apps are not fulfilling this for you, you might consider hiring a Shopify Expert to help you in this inquiry.
Upon further look at the app store, I have found this app, Deposits, Payments, and Pre-Order, that allows you to take deposits on your pre orders and charge pending payments when your item is ready for dispatch. The apps seems fairly new given the number of reviews but they all seems to love the app so it’s definitely worth the look.
There is also this app called Pre-Order Manager. This app has the feature to add a terms and conditions to your pre-order products. This can be a good work-around to what you are trying to achieve. You can explicitly inform your customers that they will need to incur another shipping fee if their cart also includes items that are not yet in stock as well as items that are ready to ship today.
