Hi Everyone,
I’m trying to figure out a way to restrict Redeemed Products via Smile (Rewards) App from being purchased if a discount code is not present. Meaning that if a customer redeemed product X (Worth $100) for 7500 points, puts it in their cart to only pay for shipping and realizes that they could simply purchase it outright for a great deal as well. (They’ll lose their points of course.)
Then the simply remove the code, pay $100 and moves on. I want to restrict certain redeemable products from being outright purchased except with a disount code. If a discount code is not present, that product cannot be purchased otherwise.
Is anyone aware of a way to ensure that a product must have a discount code present in order to be purchased. Not a certain discount code, just any disount code and if not present in the cart that it won’t allow the customer to complete the order. If a certain code must be defined, then set a prefix of CTT- “Can’t Touch This” or something like that in the Smile App to easily identify codes produced from the Smile App can be restricted.
Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.
