It seems that there are many “experts” that want to tell me what is wrong with my store. One even promised $8000 to $10000 dollars in sales within 30 days for a mere $500 commission.
Is there somewhere on this community to get more legitimate guidance if/when needed?
If those are coming in to your email, just disregard all those, mark as spam and delete. Any legitimate developer goes through proper channels not spamming merchants. Don’t click on any links.
If/when you need help, this forum is the place to get answers.
Most of them are misleading, just ignore them.
Thanks for the feedback! I figured as much. How in the world do they even know I opened a new store. I am trying to figure out the best way to “advertise” my store and these people crawl out of every corner of the internet!!

As a general rule: if someone reaches out telling you your store has “errors” but they don’t actually give you a clear, actionable solution right there in the message, just block them immediately. They are just trying to scare you into paying for unnecessary services.
For legitimate guidance, this very community forum is actually your best option! Whenever you need help, just create a new post with your store URL and ask for a review. Real merchants and developers here will give you honest, free advice right in the comments without ever asking for a dime.

They probably just look for e-stores. If you right click on your mouse and choose the inspect option, anybody can generally see that a website is built with shopify/wordpress/wix etc. It might be that some have web crawlers who search for that.
As @Maximus3 and @PieLab said, you can post here - you might still get people hitting you up for business, but you’ll also get some free advice normally.
I’m gonna be honest, as a Shopify partner you really shouldn’t trust them. Actual guidance tends to come out of vetted community discussions, established partners with a good track record and transparent store audits and not claims of guaranteed sales. Any legitimate expert will stay away from income claims and focus on the quality of traffic, conversion rate improvements, product market fit, and testing strategy guided by data. There are also Shopify community threads and official learning resources that merchants and professionals share practical, experience-based solutions. Always get samples of past work and a clear methodology before hiring anyone.
