Hello everyone I am a shopify store owner and I manufacture skin care product in my country and I wish to sell the product globally to the different countries but my concern is if I am selling the highly regulated product such as cosmetics and skin care, do I have to submit all the regulatory paper work required for the selling of the products in their respective country or as the product is delivered to the customers directly, is it necessary for me to carry all the regulatory in the desired country?

You will need to do your research for every country and region you wish to sell to, yes. For this reason I would recommend expanding gradually to different countries rather than selling worldwide overnight. As a merchant it is your responsibility to satisfy the legal requirements of every place you sell to and this may involve registering your products in that region, completing paperwork to meet industry requirements, and making sure you are aware of your tax obligations. These requirements will of course vary by country and by region so you’ll need to research what these requirements are before selling to customers there.
