I’m not sure how you’d actually be able to accomplish your goals, however, Customer Fields does have robust, account registration custom fields with the ability to save those answers as metafields. I’m assuming you’d need some combination of a custom fields/metafields and something that would trigger actions to show only specific collections when a customer is logged in.
I know this isn’t a full answer, but I hope it at least helps
