Our app used to rank high for a keyword on Shopify App Store search! Then it suddenly went downhill 2 months ago.
When searching “reviews” on Shopify App Store, we used to rank on the top 10 of page 1, then we suddenly went down to page 3. (We lost installs because it was an important keyword)
Any solution for us? Or any other app is experiencing the same thing?

Luna here from Shopify. Thanks for reaching out in our Community forum in regards to your app listed on our Shopify App Store. I completely understand why it would be important for you to improve your listing rank.
To provide some additional context, app reviews are a great place to focus. However, it is not the only factor that will impact where your app is placed within its category. The placement of the app within its category will depend on the app description, total installs, total uninstalls, the use of the Billing APIs, search terms, and of course reviews!
Although I cannot share the exact algorithm, these are the factors that are taken into consideration. Other than gaining great reviews for your apps, I recommend focusing on external marketing to boost installs. But again, it is important to note that there are many factors that affect the ranking of apps.
