I use Judge.Me to collect reviews on my website. I love the app and it’s working well for me.
However, I’m running into trouble with Google due to differences in product identifiers in my Google Shopping Ads Feed and my Google Product Ratings Review Feed. I’ve emailed Google for support and this is what they’ve told me:
"Please follow this link (see below) for more information on how to modify the feed further, or visit our Help Center Article to learn more about strong product identifiers.
I have also checked your latest feed and as of now it does not contain sufficient common identifiers. Let me explain this in detail.
Your Product Ratings (Review) Feed contains Brand values “Honey Brook Tools and Woodworks”, MPNs “15756107354021”, SKUs "15756107354021"and URLs. On the other hand your Shopping Ads Feed contains Brand “Honey Brook Tools and Woodworks”, Item IDs ¨shopify_US_8029963485413_43456154697957¨, Item Group IDs “shopify_US_8029963485413” and URLs.
As you can see, the values of identifiers in both the feeds are in different formats. Due to the lack of common identifiers your feed runs on low performance and your reviews are not live.
Hence, please ensure that the submitted identifiers in both the feeds are the same for products and their corresponding reviews."
All of my products are hand made and therefore don’t have GTINs or MPNs. They are assigned SKUs in Shopify. I’m hoping someone can explain to me like I’m a toddler how to remedy this. I believe I’ve found the feeds that are referenced but I can’t figure out how to resolve the conflict between the two.
I’m losing my mind. ![]()
