Hi
My payments had failed as my card was not verified since December 2021.
I was on the pause and build plan
However even after 3 months of failed payments shopify kept billing me instead of freezing my site.
The latest bill is of 16th April 2022
So I tried closing the shop as i don’t need it anymore but it would not let me till I paid my bills so I paid all 5 of them and deactivated store.
But I did not use the shopify since last 5 months not even logged in
Can I get a refund on these last bills? Any possible way I made a huge loss and am really struggling financially
Any help would be highly appreciated please
Have attached the charges csv. Please refund the money of the last 5 bills I just wanted to shut the store. I did not even log in once. Please.
Hi, @Zaaftshirts .
I understand that you’ve recently settled your outstanding invoices and have deactivated your store. In regards to issuing a refund for the past 5 months, as per Shopify’s Terms of Service - Section 14.10 we do not issue refunds.
However, I recommend contacting our Live Support team via chat, email or scheduling a callback. This will be the best course of action so our team can take a closer look and see if a refund can be actionable. While we cannot guarantee a refund will be processed, our Live Support team will be able to determine what steps need to be taken. We are unable to authenticate your account or provide account-specific information via our Community Forums.
For better visibility, I’ll share the steps below on how to contact our Support team.
How to contact Shopify Support:
- Navigate to our Shopify Help Center and login to your store.
- Enter a topic in the search bar and click Search.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Continue under Get Support.
- You’ll then be presented with the available contact options.
- Please note: The option for a callback may not always be available when reaching out to our live support. We continue to offer 24/7 support through our live chat and an advisor would be happy to assist you.
