How can I get to the Order Status Page in Shopify to replace the “Placeholder” logo?
-Nick
Main issue: replace the black‑and‑white “Placeholder” logo shown at the top of Shopify’s Order Status (Thank You) page reached via the confirmation email link.
Clarification: The logo in the Order Confirmation email had already been updated; the problem was the web order status page, which uses Checkout branding settings, not email templates.
Solution (from Shopify admin):
References: Screenshots were provided to show where the Customize button, Theme settings, and Checkout tab are located, aiding navigation.
Outcome: The steps worked; the placeholder logo was replaced successfully.
Status: Resolved. No outstanding questions or further actions noted. Explanation distinguishes email notification template edits from Checkout/Order Status page branding controls.

Hi,
Does your means is want get to Order Confirmation email or Order Account page?
If you want to change the logo in Order Confirmation email you can referent here:
https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/orders/notifications/edit-template
Thanks.
I’ve already changed the logo in the email, but if you click the link in the confirmation email, it takes you to a webpage that includes the order and a map of the delivery address, but at the top of the page there is a black-and-white logo with the name “placeholder”
This seems to be referred to as the “order status“ page, but I can’t find where to access it
Any thoughts?
Oh, so i guess that is checkout page logo, Do you try change setting on checkout page as like add logo or banner?
You can refer on image bellow.
But how/where?
I’m brand-new to Shopify (although I have worked in IT for 30 years).
Very chastening!
What’s the path if I start from the admin shopify.com home screen?
Ah, i see.
First you need go to Admin → Themes → at the theme you want change find to Customize button on right hand it is will look like:
after you click to that button it is take you go to theme customize screen, here you find to Theme Settings (the setting icon hight-light on image bellow) and click here
then you scroll down to bellow and find to Checkout tab and click to it at here you will see those options setting on checkout page.
BRILLIANT!
THAT WORKED
Thank you so much for both the answer and your patience.
I’m in the UK, have been fighting with getting my first store ready all night … now I can get some sleep.
Best regards and Merry Christmas
