I am trying to find a way to create a custom layout for my product variants… seemingly simple, but no!
I first want a variant that is ‘choose your surface’. This then has a dropdown of 8 options.
Then there is a dropdown for ‘choose your finish’ that, depending on the first chosen option, might display a dropdown of 1 to 4 options.
Then I want the possible different sizes that this then comes ups with, to display in a chart/table with the size price and a quantity selector. If, for example, the chosen surface and finish can come in 3 different sizes, then this shows, or perhaps 4, or perhaps 1… if that makes sense.
I thought this was simple, but I really can’t find the answer.
I have also been looking at apps but they all seem to be ‘customising’ as in allowing the website visitor to add custom info, rather than me being able to custom the layout of how the product choices appear.
Can anyone help please? Or point me in the direction of an app? Or can I pay someone to sort it please?
(I am also after a form to be an optional extra that, based on a wall height and width, and a fixed coverage, works out how much paint you need and adds it to the ‘add to cart’ button/adds to cart…)
Many many thanks for any help on this, it is truly driving me mad!

Honestly it is not very clear. I do understand that you want to display sizes available depending on the selection of first two variant options but may be a working example from another site or some example images night help understand the feature and the look and feel of it.

Hi, sorry for the confusion.
Here is a good example - https://www.littlegreene.com/aquamarine though with an additional step (so another dropdown before the size/quantity chart).
do let me know if you need anything else.
many thanks
Hi @Louise_Glass
I think you can achieve this by using Easify Product Options. This app allows you to easily customize the layout of your product variants, with features like dropdowns, conditional logic, and more. It helps you create a dynamic product page that adapts based on customer selections, all without needing any coding. Here’s how it works:
This is the Surface dropdown:
Then, using Conditional Logic in the Advanced Settings like this to ensure Finish for Plaster only shows up when customers select Plaster as the Surface. And do the same with the rest.
And this is the size option, you can add different price here for each size
Next, use Conditional Logic again so that the Size option for Plaster-Matte only shows up when Matte is chosen as the Finish. Also, if you want your customers to select a quantity for the size, simply enable the Allow quantity selector for option value in the Advanced Setting.
Finally, you can add information tooltip like this to inform customers about the size
This app is straightforward, and I believe it will work well for you. Reach out to Easify if you need any assistance!
Hi,
Interesting, I had downloaded that app already and tried it out but couldn’t get it to work for me. Will have another look now you have submitted this, thank you.
Question - can it do a calculator at all?
Just going to have a look and check to see if I can edit the styling of it and visibility, and also if I can add other additional information in the variant boxes…
Many thanks for your assistance so far
Hi @Louise_Glass
Thank you so much for trying our app!
Regarding the calculator feature — calculating paint needed based on wall height, width, and fixed coverage, and then adding it directly to the cart — we don’t support that just yet, but it’s definitely something we’re considering for future updates.
As for design and visuals, Easify comes with its own design settings. You can easily customize the look and feel within the app to better match your brand image.
And if you’d like to add more details inside variant boxes, we’ve got you covered! With features like Option Value Description and Tooltip, you can display helpful info right in dropdowns, radio buttons, and more — like this:
