I learned drop down menu is a common problem with horizon theme, and it seems like it has not been resolved yet till now. I’ve tried looking for solution including here in the community but it seems there’s nothing working for my case. The white background of the mega menu occupies the entire screen and the submenu items starts on the left, not below the parent menu items. Moreover, if you can see that blue line that’s supposed to be one of the submenus (i circled yellow and pointing using arrow), and the brown line is a submenu of blue line.
Please I need help, Ive been working on this for two days straight now, even with sidekick AI, I still couldnt resolve this case.
P.S. Please dont mind why I cover it with lines, this isn’t my store I am building. ++I am weeks old with shopify, so I’m still new to these problems :’)
Welcome to Shopify Community! Can you share your Store URL so I can have a look on it? Also, if you have password enabled then please share the password as well. Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.
The store is password protected, I need to have a look at the front end to be able to view the website. If privacy concerns, you’re more than welcomed to share it in my private messages.
It should.
Screenshots there actually show 3-level menu.
The easiest would be to go and try it in your store – solution only requires adding a “Custom Liquid” section to your “Footer Group” and can be easily rolled back by removing/disabling this section.
Let me know the preview link if you notice something wrong so I may amend the code.
Note that code depends on the theme version you have – if older than 3.3.0 use codes in the first post, for 3.3.0 and later use codes from the second one.
Hi, @tim_1 apologies for the late reply. I tried the code, unfortunately, it’s not working for me as well. I used the updated code. is there another way?
