Need Mandatory Customizable Button for Product - WILL PAY FOR SOLUTION

Hello,

I’m using the Dawn Theme and am savvy enough to change colors/font sizes/background etc., but don’t know how to code beyond that. First, I don’t want to pay $10-20/month for a text field AND I’ve tried the apps, they all don’t work and suck so please don’t recommend them,

I’d rather pay someone one time to fix it. If someone can offer a solution here that’s quick and easy, I’d appreciate that as well.

I used this code snippet in the buy-buttons.liquid above the “add to cart” buttons.

Your Name

This created a text field exactly where I want it next to product variations and above the add to cart buttons. If you enter text, it will even fully be present through the cart and through checkout into order details with this one piece of code.

There’s only 1 issue: the “required” part doesn’t work. I need this textbox to be REQUIRED before someone can “add to cart” or “buy” or use any of the dynamic buy buttons.

Urgent help needed please and thank you.

Hi, thank you for responding. Your video is actually what helped me get it this far!

Only problem is, I checked the “required” box in the UI element generator and pasted the code exactly how you did in this video, except the required function doesn’t work. Is there a quick fix to this? If not, are you willing to fix my site for me? (I can pay)
