I am creating a shopify website that is dedicated to a specific musician. The family of the musician wants to have a tab on the menu for external news links - obituary articles for his passing, past career, etc.
Looking for suggestions on how to curate links. I considered a blog with each external link in a separate post. This seems a little cumbersome.
I have all the external links. I know it’s unlikely but I’m looking for an app or way to do something that I do similar on a wordpress site I have. On wordpress, I have a cool app that I just pop the link in. It grabs the google seo summary, an image from the page, and puts it in a list.
I know that a similar app is unlikely here on shopify. But aside from a rich text block with just a list of links…
What comes to mind as a solution when you hear this “ask”. Blog posts? Would you recommend an app to support that? Or would you do it another way?
been looking at things like RSS feeds, but I’m not sure. He passed over a year ago, so we want to get the info in there, but it’s more historical than “ongoing” news. It’s a tribute page/site in shopify, with an associated store.
