Hello community,
We had used features like product metafields to group our products in one collection/product page like in this page (https://sohumlinen.com/products/chain-embroidered-collection) where two variants are being shown - Color & Size. Recently, we had installed an app “Easify option set” to give customers an option to “add monogram” to the product, this is showing at the individual product page here (https://sohumlinen.com/products/pillow-cover-chain-embroidery?_pos=1&_psq=Pillow+Cover±+Chain+Embroidery&_ss=e&_v=1.0) but it’s not showing at the collection page. Please help us overcome this issue.
Topic summary
A Shopify store is using product metafields to group multiple products on a single product page (not a traditional collection page), displaying variants for Color and Size. They recently installed the “Easify Option Set” app to add a monogram customization feature.
Current Issue:
- The monogram option appears correctly on individual product pages
- It does NOT appear on their grouped product page created via metafields
Troubleshooting Attempted:
- Initial suggestion to enable a collection page checkbox in Easify settings was not applicable
- The store clarified their setup uses metafields to group products of the same design, not standard collections
- Easify’s support team was contacted but their developers could not resolve the compatibility issue
Status: The problem remains unresolved. The grouped product page setup (created by a previous developer using metafields) appears incompatible with how Easify renders option sets.
Hi @Sohumlinen10 ,
It looks like Easify has corresponding option in its settings:
Did you try enabling this checkbox?
Actually it’s not a collection page,
It’s a product page but we have group different products of the same design
We had one developer who had set this up using product metafields, Currently the options are only color and bedding size
We had talked to Easify support team but the dev team couldn’t figure out how to solve this issue
Oh, ok, understood
Hey Hey! Bespo does this and you can place the text wherever you want to.
