Need to add an existing shopify store as a subdomain based on location

So, I have two shopify stores under my account. They are both similar ecommerce websites for different locations. I would like to add one of them as a subdomain of the other one. They should switch based on geolocation. The default website is for US and the other one is for India. And, whenever someone in India opens the main website they should be routed to the local website. For that, because even though the websites are same, they have different prices and policies so I decided to create two websites so its easier to edit the information.

But, when i go and try to add it in the settings in the market/domain section, i get the domain name already exists. I would like the Indian website as the sub-domain or sub-website to the main default US site.

How should i get this fixed?

I suggest you use this app - it is inexpensive, easy to use and allows you to use two independent stores with quick geolocation based redicrection rules. Both (or more) stores in this case may have absolutely independednt shipping and tax settings.
