Hi, the text size in the drop down menu of variants for my products is too small. I cannot locate a setting in typography that has an affect on the size.
Would anyone have an idea how to increase it?
Thank you for your help ![]()

Hi @JasperPine
This is PageFly - Free Landing Page Builder. I would love to provide my recommendations for your store based on 6 years of providing solutions for about 100.000 active Shopify merchants.
Regard your concern to change text size for dropdown menu variant. Please help me to add some custom code to your theme.liquid file. Should follow these steps below
Step1: Online store > Themes > Edit code > Search : theme.liquid
Step2: paste this code to the above of :
{% if template contains ‘product’ %}
.product-form__input.product-form__input–dropdown select {
font-size: 20px;
}
{% endif %}
Please change the px to match with your requirement.
If you feel my answer is helpful, like it or mark it as a solution. Let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
PageFly
Thank you, I did as you directed but the font size does not change, I tried
px values 20, 40, 60 and 80 with no discernible change in font size in the
drop down variants. in addition to the font size being too small it is also
very light.
hi @JasperPine . So sorry but i have typed the wrong code syntax, please help me to override it
{% if template contains ‘product’ %}
.product-form__input.product-form__input--dropdown select { font-size: 20px; }{% endif %}
That worked, thank you SO much, I liked and accepted as solution.
Again, my sincere appreciation for your help ![]()
