Need to external hosing for Shopify public app?

Dear all,

We are new to Shopify. We are developing a Shopify public app.

To publish the App we need to deploy the app externally and just provide the app URL or Shopify will take care of this when we publish the app?

Treat this as a regular web application. You have to manage you’re app’s hosting and infrastructure. The only thing Shopify needs from you is you’re app URL in the partner dashboard. Shopify will only provide their store API access to your app as required.
